PLOT
Storyline centers around a boutique law firm at their annual office retreat. Everything is halted when the intern is found dead, and investigation ensues. Players get a chance to investigate the scene of the crime, scrutinize the victim's personal effects, and even hack into a computer. Each player must investigate those around them, but they can't be certain their own character didn't commit the crime...

All characters were created gender-neutral for flexibility of play. Each character is named by their profession, which helps for remembering what role that character plays in the evening.

DESCRIPTION
This game is intended to be played sitting around a table, with 1-8 players, where everyone has access to solve clues and contribute to discussions. You can choose to plan costumes, decorations, or otherwise elaborate on the evening in any way you'd like, but it's not necessary to the game environment.
I recommend this party for teens and adults, as PG-13 themes are mentioned (adultery, murder, etc.).
CHARACTERS
All characters were created gender-neutral for flexibility of play. Each character is named by their profession, which helps for remembering what role that character plays in the evening. The character cards will be laid out as name tents for easy reference throughout the game.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
This game pack comes with instructions, 8 character cards, 12 puzzles and clues, hints, voting cards, commencement and reveal scripts, and online answer validation (on the "Solve" tab of the lamplitmysteries.com). Everything has been printed and prepared for you by hand and will be shipped to the address you provide.
HOW TO PLAY
Everyone will be assigned a character at the beginning of the game. The game starts with the commencement script and reveal of the intern's death. From there, players will investigate clues and solve puzzles to decipher the solution. Once everyone has voted, you may use the "Solve" page (https://lamplitmysteries.com/pages/solve) to check your answer. You may submit guesses as many times as you like — it will only reveal once you have each element correct.
